To begin the session:

Distribute copies of the “What I Know, How I Learned” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners complete it individually in a minute or less before sharing responses with a partner.

To encourage personal application:

Distribute copies of the “Unexpected in God’s Great Hands” exercise from the activity page. Encourage learners to complete the activity as a take-home during the upcoming week. To encourage completion, state that you will allow time at the beginning of next week’s class for learners to share responses.
