To begin the session:
Distribute copies of the “Zeal!” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have participants complete it individually in a minute or less before sharing their reflections with a partner.
Lead into the Bible study by saying, “Passion and zeal often emerge when something we deeply care about is at stake. In today’s Scripture, we witness Jesus’ profound zeal for his Father’s house.”
To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:
Distribute copies of the “Mixed-up Manuscript” activity from the activity page. Have learners work with a partner to complete as indicated.
