To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:
Distribute copies of the “Reminders!” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners complete it individually in a minute or less before discussing responses in small groups.
Wrap up by saying: “Our love of God and our obedience to him should undergird every action we take, including how we approach our relationships with others.”
To encourage personal application:
Distribute copies of the “Letters of Encouragement” exercise from the activity page. Invite learners to complete the page throughout the upcoming week. To encourage completion, say that you will ask for volunteers next week to share how this exercise challenged or inspired them.
