To begin the session:

Before class begins, place in chairs copies of the “Metaphor Unmixer” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Class members can start working on it individually as they arrive.

After the above, say, “Today we explore a passage where the apostle Peter used various metaphors to describe and illustrate vital concepts. So correct interpretation is a must!”

To encourage personal application:

To close, distribute copies of the “15 for Active Stones” exercise from the activity page to discuss as time allows. If used as a take-home, promise to discuss reactions next week.
