To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:
If you wish to compare and contrast individual helping responsibilities with the church’s collective responsibilities and procedures, distribute copies of the “Collective Helping and Jesus’ Expectations” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have participants complete it as indicated in groups of no more than four. (Note: This exercise can be time-consuming. You may wish to save it until the end of the Into Life segment.)
To encourage personal application:
Distribute copies of the “Don’t Let the Message Fall Away!” puzzle from the activity page as a take-home.
