July 5, 2026: The Believing Centurion (Matthew 8:5–13)

To begin the session:

Distribute copies of the “Anatomy of an Appeal” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners work in groups of three as indicated.

Transition into the Bible study by saying, “Today’s passage helps us see how God is pleased with appeals made on faithful grounds.”

To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:

Distribute copies of the “Tale of Two Appeals” exercise from the activity page along with pens of different colors. Have learners complete the activity individually as indicated and then discuss it in small groups.
