To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:
Distribute copies of the “Prophet’s Words” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners work in small groups to complete as indicated.
After calling time for the activity, have groups present their findings before the class. Ask, “At what point in the passage do you observe Jeremiah transition from speaking out of fear to speaking with conviction?”
To encourage personal application:
Distribute copies of the “Divine Call” activity from the activity page. Have learners complete it individually in a minute or less before discussing conclusions in small groups.
