To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:

Distribute copies of the “A Den of Robbers” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners work in pairs to complete as indicated. After calling time, ask volunteers to share results.

To encourage personal application:

Distribute copies of the “Expression of Gratitude” exercise from the activity page. Offer the exercise as a take-home activity and encourage completion by reminding learners that they will have time to share results in the next class if they desire.
