To engage the learners in a study of the Scripture text:
Distribute copies of the “What Happens When” exercise from the activity page, which you can download here. Have learners work in groups to complete it as indicated.
After about 10 minutes, call all groups together. Encourage groups to share their answers by leading discussion with the whole class.
To encourage personal application:
Distribute copies of the “Send Words of Hope” activity from the activity page. Have learners complete the activity in small groups.
End the session by singing a favorite praise song or hymn about Jesus’ resurrection.
