I need to setup an account to access
Standard Lesson Commentary
within Logos Bible Software.

This is the first time I have used Logos Bible Software.  NO?, then try this.

If you do not already have a Faithlife account, and Logos Bible Software, you will want to:

• Create a Faithlife Account.
• Order Logos 7 Basic, which gives you a great starter library of books and the KJV Bible.
• Activate the serial number you will find under the scratch-off sticker on the survey card bound inside the front cover of every deluxe edition.

Here’s how you do it

1.      Navigate to https://www.logos.com/register
2.      After filling out the account information click the orange “Create account” button.
3.      Complete the short survey (two pages).
4.      Order the FREE Logos 7 Basic from https://www.logos.com/basic

 

Redeem the serial number

5. Locate the survey card on the inside front cover and scratch off the grey surface of the sticker with a coin or house key.
6. Go to logos.com/redeem. If Logos.com asks you to sign in, then do so and you will be redirected back to the redemption page.
7. Find the survey card bound inside the front cover for your Deluxe Edition, and use a coin to scratch off the grey surface to reveal the serial number (the last three digits will end in QTH). Be careful to not scratch-off too deeply and destroy the code.
8. Type in the entire serial number and click the orange ‘Go’ button.
9. Your Standard Lesson Commentary is now activated in your account.

 

Install Logos Bible Software

Go to https://www.logos.com/install and follow the on-screen prompts. Logos will download your library including Standard Lesson Commentary.

Note

The download process may take a few minutes. Please look to the top right-hand corner for a small blue notification circle with a number inside. If after 10 minutesyou do not see the notification circle then click the open book icon in the top-left and type the word “standard” to see if it has already been downloaded. If you do not see it there follow the steps at https://www.logos.com/support/desktop/missing-resourcesto make sure Logos Bible Software is setup to receive automatic updates.

How do I access the Standard Lesson Commentary “DVD Content”?

1. Click the link to download the zipped folder http://www.standardlesson.com/download/standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19
2. Double-click standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19.zip that has downloaded to open it¹.
3. Open the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder.
4. Open the subsequent folders to view their contents.
5. You may need to open a series of folders to find the file you are looking for.

 

Windows |

1. Click the link to download the zipped folder http://www.standardlesson.com/download/standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19
2.  Double-click the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19.zip  file that has downloaded by double clicking on it¹.
3. Ignore the folder named _MACOSX.
4. Click and drag the file named “standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19” to your Documents folder, or another location you wish the files to reside.
5. Open the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder.
6. You may need to open a series of folders to find the file you are looking for.

 

Viewing the contents of the .zip folder

1. Double-click the standard-lesson-dvd-content-2018-19 folder to open it.
2. Open the subsequent folders to view their contents by double-clicking them as well.
3. The content you may be looking for may be a few layers of folders.

 

¹Both Windows and macOS come standard with the ability to open .zip (zipped) folders. All you need to do is double-click the zipped folder and the file in the zipped folder will appear.
